Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Indev Services LLC (“we”, “us”), which operates the Wanderaisle app and website (“Wanderaisle”). By using Wanderaisle you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

1. Wanderaisle is a simulation

Wanderaisle is a game that imitates shopping. Nothing in it is offered for sale, nothing you “buy” will be delivered, and no real money is charged. Prices, deliveries, stores, brands and products are fictional. Any resemblance to real businesses or products is coincidental and does not mean they endorse or are connected with Wanderaisle.

2. Virtual dollars and items

• Virtual dollars (v$) and items exist only inside the game. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, goods or services, or sold or transferred to anyone.
• We give you a limited licence to use them in the game; you don’t own them.
• We may change prices, allowances, rewards and other parts of the game economy, and may adjust or reset balances, for example to fix errors or abuse.
• v$ cannot currently be bought with real money. If we ever offer purchases, they will come with their own terms.

3. Who can use Wanderaisle

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.

4. Your account

The app creates a player account on your device without asking for personal details. If you don’t add an email address, your progress is tied to that device and can be lost if you delete the app or lose the device. Keep the sign-in codes we email you private. You can delete your account at any time in the app (see how to delete your account).

5. Fair play

Please don’t:

• cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, scripts or other automation to play;
• interfere with or try to break the service, its security or other players’ use of it;
• copy, scrape, reverse engineer or resell Wanderaisle or its content, except where the law allows it;
• use Wanderaisle for anything unlawful or to mislead anyone into thinking its products are real.

6. Our content

Wanderaisle, including its name, logo, designs, images, text and software, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable licence to use the app and website for their intended purpose. We may suspend or end this licence if you break these terms.

7. Emails

If you add an email address, we send sign-in codes and, unless you turn them off, order emails. We send news and offers only if you opt in. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

8. Changes and availability

We may change, pause or stop Wanderaisle or any part of it, and we may update these terms. If we make significant changes to the terms, we will tell you in the app or by email; continuing to use Wanderaisle afterwards means you accept them.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Wanderaisle and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or that we reasonably believe harm the service or other players.

10. Disclaimers

Wanderaisle is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or that your progress will never be lost.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, virtual items or progress. Because Wanderaisle is free and involves no real purchases, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to US$50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

12. App stores

If you got the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply to your download. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for Wanderaisle or for supporting it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of the place you live gives you protections that can’t be waived.
